Unlike the GV60, the Electrified GV70 is not built on Hyundai’s E-GMP architecture, but on a conventional platform that’s been retooled for electrification at the Hyundai factory in Montgomery, Ala.

The Electrified GV70 offers ultrafast charging and will be able to recoup 80 percent of its battery capacity when hooked up to a DC fast charger.

The Advanced trim level, priced at $66,975 with a $1,125 destination fee, features 20-inch alloy wheels, a panoramic sunroof and a hands-free power liftgate.
